Relinquished Hope
There is a noticeable difference in this piece compared to my typical art. It’s much darker and less colourful... yes that was purposeful.
In the past year or so I’ve created the Hope Collection. Showing the stages of life by using meaningful pictures. This painting depicts the darkness of the world and our earthly circumstances. The brown flowers are dried and weary, but there is a peek of hope with the sparsity of colour.
Trials are draining but there are ALWAYS reasons to have joy. In Christ there is certainty that “this won’t last forever” and as hard as it is to hear sometimes it’s TRUE.Changing the way hardship is seen is the first step to thriving. With this piece you can come from the vantage of “its too dark and harsh” or “the beauty of the florals are accentuated BECAUSE of their surroundings”Joy shines the most when happiness isn’t called for. And living joyfully is the best way to go through life🌈
